Tracy Soltesz

About me

Tracy's rich experiences with foreign culture, including travel and study throughout remote areas of China, and a family background in health care have brought her to the wellness industry. She holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, a Master of Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in political science, journalism and legal policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. After twelve years of dedicated study, Tracy is now certified as one of 25 instructors worldwide of the Shen-Hammer Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis lineage by Dr. Hammer and his senior instructors. Additionally, Tracy is a certified Zero Balancer, an AcuDetox Specialist and member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA), and serves as adjunct faculty at Maryland University of Integrative Health, teaching both master and doctoral level practice management courses and diagnostic skills classes. She served on the board of Maryland Acupuncture Society for over 13 years in various positions including President, Vice President of External Affairs, and Legislative Committee Chair. Tracy also Chaired the Council of State Associations for two years during their transition into our nation's professional association, the American Society of Acupuncturists. Tracy is the Clinical Pearls Editor for the Journal of the American Society of Acupuncturists.
